On 20 September, Niels Pflaeging announced plans to publish the 26th BetaCodex Network research paper on Time-Oriented Software Development, a new approach to agile software development in October, together with Pradtke CTO Sebstian Kubsch.
Niels Pflaeging says: "Time-orientation certainly opens up a revolutionary way of thinking about agile software development. I have posted about time-orientation quite a bit lately, on the BetaCodex Substack and on the Red42 substack. Perhaps time-orientation will result in the much-needed shift in the way we organize software development, software companies and tech firms. We clearly need that move beyond Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Agile scaling, I think, if we want to finally make agility worth the name happen. I am confident that time-orientation can ignite that shift. But TOSD is not just an idea, it is already being put to practice at Pradtke GmbH in Bochum, where it was adopted within a few weeks."
A short article about the research and its topic was published on the BetaCodex Network web magazine on Substack. A teaser on the forthcoming research paper can already be found on the BetaCodex Network website.
